House of Horror

images (1)
So I have yet to get my house.  If it’s not one road block it’s another.  After the company that makes the house finally got the blue prints done and approved by me the bank let the paper lapse.  Meaning I had to turn in more information since it expired on  July 5th.  You would think the stupid bank would have sent me a message so I could get these items yet again.  Nope and now they needed social security cards.  My husband has no idea where his is.  Wonderful right?  Meaning yet again we would be delayed.  The bank loan lady also mention that if we got delay to much more all the paper work and loan would have to be done again.  Including the appraisal.  Which already cost 400 dollars the first time around.  So I became highly enraged and called the bank and spoke to the boss.  I explained that she should have sent out a letter for me to get the expired papers when it expired 3 weeks ago.  Plus she should have mentioned months ago that we needed our social security cards.  I told him that the whole deal was getting ready to expire and there would be no way to get to closing on the weekend.  I told him he better figure something out before it expired.  Because if I had to do everything over it will be with a different bank.
So that evening he called back.  It was at the closer.   Next day it was at the last stage but got delayed because something needed to be approved by the court.  Good grief.  This wasn’t the banks fault the court waited forever to send the paper back.  So finally we having a closing date!  It will be Friday.  I will be going there first thing in the am when I get home from working nights.  But hell I can lose a little sleep just to complete this stupid pain in the ass deal.
Next part….is the building, grading and moving of stuff…

Life goes on...

I have been so busy lately trying to get back on my feet that I have seem to have neglected everyone on the net.  Not just blogger.  Even Facebook, MSN and twitter. It's amazing just how fast life goes on.  I am so far behind on everyone's blog and I apologize.   I find myself less and less on the net due to work, family, physical therapy and trying to find a new place to live.  Pretty much all I do now is update my Facebook status.  I have even been forgetting to wish people happy birthday on Facebook.  Which is kinda sad.  Of course it doesn't help that I rarely use my computer anymore now that I have my iPad.  I check out the news feed, leave comments and leave status updates and go on with life.  Quick and Easy.  Unfortunately the iPad is a little more limiting that my computer.  It lacks the birthday warnings that are on the right hand side like my computer.  lol...

I spend most of my days off now in physical therapy so I can try to keep my job.  It kind of takes up most of my time.  The other part of my days off seem to be revolved around millions of errands.  I would help if I wasn't the only one in my family doing these errands.  People probably think I have fallen off the edge of a cliff or something.  I am still here and hope to catch up on some blog reading.

Another guilty pleasure I have is reading.  Alot of my authors I read have published some new books and I seem to be caught up in them right now.  That and I have discovered some new authors that have kept my attention.  I love my iPad for the ability to read in the dark when the man is sleeping.  But I still use my nook everywhere else.  It seems to be easier to read now that I have an e- reader.  I have even notice that my youngest is reading much more now that she has one too.  Too bad I can't say that about my oldest who is wrapped up in Facebook and her new boyfriend.  That is a whole blog in itself. Hoping to get back to blogging soon.  I will update everyone on the therapy process shortly.  Hope everyone is doing well.

Back issues

To All of my old followers I am sure you remember my months of posting about my back and being out of work. Not to mention months of being stuck home. I did have plenty of time to blog though. Awhile back I had a psych patient that was being violent and I ended up pulling my shoulder. Which turn out to be a pinched nerve. Apparently it's not any better because last thursday I really hurt it. Now I am on
Iight duty, steroids, muscle relaxers and NSAIDs. Which Is making me a hormonal mess. If the meds don't cause severe mood swings, fatigue i get to look forward to excess sweating. Note to self bring extra deodorant. Mine apparently ran out half way thru the night. Hand sanitizer mixed with flower lotion will not help. What was worse I thought the patient smelled and it was me....ewww. Had to call the floors to send me deodorant down to the ER. How sad is that. Light duty is a joke in the ER since when is there light duty anything? No lifting, pushing or pulling more than 20 pounds, no bending, squatting. No raising either arm about head. Hello all the gowns are above my head. Not to mention towels, wash rags and bed sheets. That doesn't work at all. I already feel like crap and now i have to call employees to get things down! Like they have time for that. Not to mention we are on mandatory overtime so I still feel over worked. How the hell am I suppose to get better. They are already lining me up to see a neurologist. That way I can get a mylelogram done. Which I had done before. It was the most painful procedure I have ever had done. And I have had back surgery and two kids. So I hurt, feel useless at work, fatigued from all the drugs, and scared to death I might be on the road to another surgery. I just want to go to bed and throw the covers over my head and hide some.mmi wish they would back off on work a little. I might get the chance to really recover. Ugh so frustrated

Hello and Happy New Year

I hate this time of year.  But not as bad as the crazy grouchy shoppers of Christmas. Glad that is over.  You know the time of year I am talking about where people make their New Year resolutions and in about oh 3-4 months forget all about what they were changing or doing. Then you have the Dieters who start up after the first of the year making the gym impossible to work out at.  I have been redoing weight watchers since October and yes I took 2 weeks off during the holidays.  I was surprised that I didn’t gain especially after all the stupid twix and cookies I ate.  But anyway this is the time of the year where you want to make changes.  I say bleck to that so here is to more bitching, complaining and craziness of my life.  I have plenty of unwritten blogs that I should have written over the holiday crazy but was busy trying to hold down the fort.  So I hope you enjoy the next few days of my whininess.  At least I am forewarning you.

Medical updates

So I need to update everyone on the two tests.  First my tata’s squeeze test came back fine.  No malignant finding aka no cancer.  They are not sure what the lumps are but its not showing up on the ultra sound or mammograms …So he just wants me to follow up before the year is up if it becomes larger or more tender.  If that happens then he wants me to see a surgeon specialist to figure out what it is.  So a big SHEEWW is in order.  As for the redneck man’s stress test it came back with good news also.  Passed with flying colors…he did call me all stressed out about the IV and possible nuclear dye they might instill…lol  I think he was afraid of being radio active…I should have asked him if he thought he might turn into Spiderman.  He turn the the “radio” active dye down and just did the regular stress test which is really all he needed anyway. I do like the fact that the doctor made him realize that he was an alcoholic and he has cut back some.   He went from 6- 8oz cans to 2- 18 oz bottles which equals 12 oz less that what he was drinking.  I guess 2 is better than 6? Whatever.  But he did improve on his day’s off from 12 cans to 6.  That’s half.  He is a lot less grouchy.  He also has to relearn how to sleep because the doctor thinks his numbness can be due to him sleeping with his arms behind his head.  He mentioned to me he didn’t know what was harder cutting back on the beer or trying to relearn how to sleep.  So that’s the medical update.

Ready to get off this roller coaster of life

rollercoasters
I know that live has its ups and downs…but lately I feel like i am getting a little sick to my stomach and I am ready to get off this ride of life. Not ended it like in suicide more as in lay on a beach chair on a tropical beach and have some hunky waiter waiting on me hand a and foot. Between school and my family and I think you might find me in the mental ward or jail..lol

First lets start with the constant bickering. My girls are 15months apart and completely opposites. My youngest is the girly girl, organized and apparently a grade level below in reading.

My oldest is the tom boy, who never seems to comb her hair and her room looks like a bomb went off. If you don’t keep up with her she will wear dirty clothes if left on floor. She is unfortunately taking more after my ex than i wish. I just found out she got a F in math.

My redneck man, who grew up with a mommy that did everything for him…possible wiped his ass is sloppy, constantly cusses, and had inherited the family pass time of drinking.
Now mind you I am no angel. I can be hard to live with. I am a perfectionist, organized and can all around be a bitch. Or at least my man seems to call me that most times.
So my dilemma is do I try to fix the family issues or hope that all can survive for the next 3 months and 5 days left before I graduate and pray no one dies?

My man is no help. He won’t take the kids any where. Not to band or church youth group. He works hard and thinks kids would do better if just left with nature and not culture. Making him in charge of the kids education is scary and would be better off in my dogs paws. He has taken over cooking but I think he did that because I have slacked off on it and gone to quick and easy meals. That’s about all he does. My youngest helps out the most and will do anything if asked. But she shouldn’t have to do it all herself. In fact the man has learned that and will inform me that the house got clean and most of it was done by her. While he drank his beer and watched. My oldest…uh lets just say its never done right and most times you have to go back and redo it anyway. She has struggled in school to the point that i had her test to make sure she wasn’t ADD. Nope she was borderline. So no help there. My man is high against any drugs to help her focus. Oh did i mention she still wets the bed? she is 12. dr said there is nothing physically but possible age issues. Meaning she will grow into her bladder. He told me 2 yrs ago we could put her on meds for it. Which btw is an antidepressant with suicidal ideation as a risk…so uh no thanks, So reading most family blogs I see everyone else's kids excelling and skipping grades…what the heck am I doing wrong? we do extra math and reading. But heck some of that math was 20yrs ago when i did it. The teachers are a joke. I mean don’t you think they should have let me know she was slipping in grades instead of waiting till it was on the report card. This kid had be grounded from everything. No videos, no TV, no overnights, and this time i am not letting her go to the dance. I mean this has been going on for the last 2 yrs at least. She knows she is suppose to show me the low grades so that we can work on them. But i never seem to see those papers. Unless i am there in class holding her hand and telling her what to do I am beginning to think we might not make it to high school. Is anyone else out there having issues?
and as for the man that's another blog
